Hello. My name is Shannon and I am currently enrolled in CIM with my school back in Iowa (attending online). As per a homework assignment, I need to write about our states mission statement (which I found) and to include the presidents email address as well if there are any meetings that are coming up for Cancer Registrars. Our annual educational conference will be this fall, likely October.
I can’t provide specifics yet, but I’m hoping to be able to make them available within the month.
The state cancer registry (Arizona Cancer Registry) often holds a meeting during the summer, but you’d have to contact them directly for what they’re planning to do this year.

My name is Corine Faehn and I work in the outreach department at Mesothelioma Guide. We are an advocacy organization dedicated to helping patients diagnosed with asbestos illnesses. I admire your mission to promote the cancer registry through sponsoring educational opportunitites and peer networking.
Mesothelioma is a rare cancer and very few treat it. Mesothelioma affects the lining of the lungs and can sometimes be misdiagnosed as lung cancer. We specialize in connecting patients with doctors and treatment options that are best suited for them. Our services and resources are 100% free to patients and family members. Since we don’t charge for our services, we don’t have a budget to advertise. I’m reaching out to webmasters to help us spread the word.
